After nine months back in Florida we couldn’t wait to get back to Nicaragua just in time for the winds to lay down allowing us to spend plenty of time on the water. The rainy season starts around May every year and with the rain comes calm weather. Here in Nicaragua rain is a good thing, with rain comes fish! We arrived in Managua and immediately needed to start working on the boat for our first group coming in the end of May. In typical Nica fashion all the work that needed to be done on the boat took A LOT longer than expected. With that being said when it was all completed we couldn’t be happier with the results. The panga was already a beautiful vessel but as with everything there is always room for improvements. This years big upgrades include a JL sound system, Minn Kota I-pilot trolling motor, seadeck flooring, a surfboard rack, a single in boat gas tank, as well as many other small changes that are sure to make the experience just a little more enjoyable. To make things interesting per usual the boat was completed on the afternoon of the 22nd and our guests arrived on the morning of the 23rd. We can’t wait for all the adventures soon to come on the coast this summer.
